E learning is new form of learning everyone is looking interested in. Due to covid this became the best mode for everyone from KG to PG. There are many E learning platforms, yet many more coming forward with new formats. But still there is need for improvement.
What is the point in presenting information that is already present in text books?
What is the point in just giving raw content?
Do you know why experienced or highly qualified persons are wanted as teacher?
Let me explain with example in 6th standard General science there is topic about determining factors of person’s height.
To the above topic multiple questions arise in wonderful little kids brains, only person who did at least Masters in Science can do justice. Just giving answer to the question doesn’t justify, that won’t do any good to kids or their future or society. They need to know all the factors, about DNA, little more details about experiments done and going on current trends not in depths but providing little details can incorporate learning zeal in them.
Now, coming back to How to make your E learning or Your content unique?
Answer to this question is in above example. In many portals there are question and answer or explanation to topic or content following standard textbooks.
How about complete picture of content?
If you focus on just high school content you need not to go much depth but your content can be unique if it explains below details:
- What is the topic about?
- How it is useful in their real life?
- What they can do with it?
- Little more details about it.
There is no point if you present text book content in your platform. It needs to be explanatory mode. Blind explanation isn’t good, no one cannot use such content in real life, they need to know applicability to real life. Only such content and students who consume such content can do good for them as well as for society.
Now a days many platforms are offering content for students preparing for competitive examinations and job aspirants who are preparing for competitive examinations.
If you are planning to support Job aspirants and Competitive exams, you can create content in a way that is useful for all categories.
For example concept you intent to explain is Genetics, by starting at DNA you can go much deeper and can cover Biochemistry, Forensics, Genetic code, Genetic Engineering, Enzymology and many more.
Students who ever consume such content can crack any competitive examination quiet easily and they will suggest your content for others.
Authentic or accurate information can only be obtained from standard source. Checking randomly every textbook makes student loose their precious time, instead provide international standard books as reference for topics, magazines for current trends, this is where all your experience is needed.
Now apply the same format to all topics like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General studies.
Good thing is content developed properly once will be consumed multiple times that too globally. It will be worth for everything you have invested in.
