Is it more interesting to have short taglines or long content?

Short lines..

NOO

long content..

Believe me guys, it’s no more long content days. Not many are interested in reading whole books all the time. The purpose of providing content is to share messages in short form. Do you know what is called effective and productive: one yields more with fewer inputs?

Short content is sweet. But it is hard to create, and it is great to create an impact with just a few words. Hamara Baja, Never settle, secret of our energy, just do it, think differently, I’m loving it, Just do it.

Just by listening to these taglines, we can remember the brands. That’s the impact of short words. It’s a fact that the majority love to read short content in the media as well. In some instances, I would love to read long content.

In subtitling we have a specified guideline for CPS characters per second, which means the number of characters that should be there per second. It varies depending on the type of show, like a kid’s show should have 17 cps, an adult show 25, SDH (Subtitles for the Deaf and Hearing)-36 or 42, closed captions 36. It varies from one to one. The point is, in Indian languages, it takes more characters to carry the essence of English dialogue. Writers brainstorm to create the best impact. To make dialogue natural, they repetitively edit, besides taking care of character count.

I believe that many subtitlers understand the hard work we put in behind this CPS and can convey its essence.

Finally, it’s worth watching content in short form.

Speaking of short forms of content, I shouldn’t write more. But what to do? I have a lot to share. Stay tuned to learn more updates, tips on creating short forms of content and taglines for your product marketing.

Also, some content can be explained in long form. Not everything is possible in short form. But we can make the long form interesting too.
